As an established gallery, we enjoy spending time with clients so that artists can concentrate on their work. The Fairfax Gallery offers the support of a established gallery, rather than a minefield of pop up events and virtual galleries.
What the Fairfax Galleries are looking for:
Committed artists, whether established or emerging who wish to concentrate their talents in creating artworks while trusting their galleries to promote their work.
Please note that we are unable to represent new artists if:
Already exhibiting at galleries or directly within 20 miles of the Fairfax Galleries, as we do not wish to repeat what is already existing elsewhere in the area.
They have websites designed to sell work directly, rather than directing clients to the galleries spending time and resources representing and promoting them, as this undermines the galleries representing them.
We regret that we do not currently exhibit prints or photography.
To submit:
We do get over 1000 applications each year, so please do not be disappointed if we cannot represent your work. As we represent a long-established body of gallery artists, we are only able to add a few each year.
Please email 6 – 10 images of recent work in a format easily viewed on a PC, preferably as jpegs to contact@fairfaxgallery.com. Please also submit a relevant CV and a price guide, and we aim to reply within one week. As submissions need to be viewed by all three of our galleries, sometimes this may take a little longer.
We do intend to reply to all emails personally; however, we do not respond to bulk emails.
